CSX Coal Train

An epic angle from the Miami side. Really like any shot of CSX with the skyline in the background.

CSX O721 catches

The homestead sub is like Algebra. Everything that runs there is on the Miami sub as well. And so, I present a video from there of several catches between 8/16 and 9/11.

O717 A La Street View

He got the cameras rolling at NW 15 ST in Pompano. The traffic looks like as if the gates just rose, and here's the EOT. Note the low cube boxcars at Boise. I knew that was one of their carloads.

Google Street View

While obviously we junior railfans were on the scene all summer long, Google Street View updated with a new reel of high resolution imagery from the Miami side. As my focus is Fort Lauderdale-Deerfield, I'll probably be posting images of cars in the house tracks. The time of year looks like Spring 2011 as the Turnpike/8th St. Interchange just had the backplated lights installed, the sun is to the south, among others. The imagery is very interesting as I am analyzing who received cars at the times in the area. ie. Phoenix Cold Store has reefers (I thought they went under for some reason) and Veco has TWO boxcars. Sun-gas and CBI looked full, and Trujillo has one BNSF box. Will post more as I progress.

I remember people saying they saw the car sometime this year, guess that is the case.

Q452 SD80MAC Video

Glad to see these beasts in SFL

Classic O721

Always nice to see a Spartan C40-8 down here. Haven't seen those in forever and boy are these gals getting old. 7562, a rust bucket who I bet will be coated soon

More SD80MAC

CSX Q453 and Q452, Miami Terminal Freight, this week has rotated 4595 (an SD80MAC). I scored them in Hollywood but she was trailing. Video soon.
